CAELA's Resource Collections provide an overview of the resources that are currently available from the Internet and conventional published sources on specific topics in adult ESL. The collections can include resources such as reports, articles, organizations, databases, and materials in the Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC) database.
Resources included in these collections have been reviewed by CAELA staff or by other experts in areas related to the specific topics being examined, to ensure the currency, relevance, and quality of each piece of information included. In most cases, the resources address the topic directly. However, when appropriate, resources that address the topic from a broader perspective (e.g., seminal articles from K-12 education or general adult education) have been included to provide a more complete overview. Links to online documents have been provided where available, as well as annotations for those texts available to staff for review.
